A Note on the GregToDiffer Redesign

It's been a long time coming, but welcome to the redesign of my website. The old one worked fine, but it was time for a change. After many weeks of sporadic work in Photoshop, realized that I was overcomplicating things and that maybe less would be more. I was wondering what to do when I heard about hosting site Squarespace so I checked it out. WP was great, but as I don't know CSS, the language WP is coded in, making changes in layout or design was a bit tricky. So, I took the plunge and moved everything over.

Great decision, as it turns out. Squarespace is pretty badass and even non-code geeks like me can set up something pretty sophisticated in a short amount of time; I had a near-finished version of the site you're on now up and running in a a single evening. To my eyes, the site's a bit crisper and easier to read, and the awesome header, by my supremely talented buddy Tim, looks even better than it used to (some neat changes coming to that soon as well).

Anyway, the site may need a few more tweaks, but this is essentially it. As it's a bit, uhh... tense in Bangkok right now, I'll get back to posting when things calm down. Comments?

Who did the image in your masthead? I chuckle every time I see it. Also love the Canadian Aboot!

Should the navigation in the header read "ABOOT" or "ABOUT"?

Haha, thanks Lloyd, but the 'Aboot' is intentional - a little joke at Canada's expense. We love making fun of ourselves, eh?
